Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
  • 1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup salsa or pico de gallo
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce (optional)
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix refried beans with taco seasoning until well combined.
  2. Spread the seasoned beans evenly in the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish or trifle dish.
  3. Layer sour cream evenly over the beans.
  4. Add a layer of guacamole on top of the sour cream.
  5. Spoon salsa or pico de gallo evenly over the guacamole.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the salsa layer.
  7. Top with green onions and sliced black olives.
  8. Optionally, add shredded lettuce as the final layer.
  9. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve chilled with tortilla chips.
