Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted pistachios, shelled
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Blend the pistachios in a food processor until finely ground.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, milk, and cream. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Add the ground pistachios and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract and salt.
  5. Allow the mixture to cool before using or storing in an airtight container.
