Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1/4 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • Whipped cream, for topping
  • Maraschino cherries, for garnish
  • Chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of the pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in mashed bananas, vanilla, and sour cream.
  4. Pour filling over the crust and bake for 50 minutes or until the center is set.
  5. Allow cheesecake to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  6. Before serving, drizzle with chocolate syrup and top with whipped cream, crushed pineapple, cherries, and nuts.
  7. Slice and enjoy!
