Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ¾ cup oat flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup nut butter (almond, peanut, or sunflower)
  • ½ cup maple syrup or honey
  • ¼ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (dairy-free if vegan)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8-inch cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix almond flour, oat flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add nut butter, maple syrup, applesauce, and vanilla extract. Stir until a thick dough forms.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden around the edges.
