Ingredients

  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. In the last 2 minutes, add the broccoli to the boiling water. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Reduce heat to low and pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  5. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes, then add butter for extra richness.
  6. Toss in the cooked pasta and broccoli, stirring well to coat everything in the creamy sauce.
  7. Serve hot with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
