Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, beef broth, sugar, and black pepper.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add steak slices and cook until browned. Remove from the pan.
  3. In the same pan, add another tbsp of oil. Stir-fry bell peppers, onion, and garlic for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Return the steak to the pan and pour in the sauce mixture. Cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve hot over cooked rice.
