Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni)
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the crushed tomatoes, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning. Stir well.
  6. Simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
