Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup apple pie filling
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the puff pastry sheet into 4 equal squares.
  3. Spoon about 1-2 tablespoons of apple pie filling into the center of each square.
  4. Fold each square into a triangle and press the edges with a fork to seal.
  5. Brush each turnover with the beaten egg and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired.
  6. Place in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Meanwhile, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the glaze.
  8. Once turnovers are slightly cooled, drizzle with the glaze and serve.
