Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in salt, pepper, garlic powder, ketchup, and mustard. Mix well and cook for 2 more minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. Flatten each biscuit round and spoon a bit of beef mixture into the center. Top with shredded cheese and crumbled bacon.
  5. Fold and pinch the dough to seal into a ball. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Brush each ball with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top, if using.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
