Ingredients

  • 1 prepared pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves, to taste
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the crust.
  5. Top with shredded mozzarella and arrange blackberries on top.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the pizza.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
  8. Top with fresh basil leaves and a drizzle of honey, if using.
  9. Slice and serve warm.
