Season pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper.

Sear the pork chops on both sides until nicely browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Push the pork chops to one side of the skillet. Add the garlic to the empty side and sauté until fragrant.
Pour in honey, water, and soy sauce. Stir to combine and coat the pork chops in the sauce.
Let the sauce simmer and reduce slightly, spooning it over the chops.
