Ingredients

  • 1 lb. chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 small red onion, cut into wedges
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • Skewers, soaked if wooden

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Thread the chicken, peppers, pineapple, and onion alternately onto the skewers.
  3. Brush olive oil over the skewers and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place skewers on the grill and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked through.
  5. During the last 5 minutes, brush barbecue sauce onto the skewers and grill until caramelized.
  6. Remove from grill and serve hot with your favorite sides.
