Ingredients

  • 1 can of large flaky biscuits (8 count)
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat until hot.
  2. Using a small round cutter, cut holes in the center of each biscuit to form a donut shape.
  3. Carefully place 2-3 donuts at a time into the hot oil.
  4. Fry each side for about 1 minute, or until golden brown.
  5. Remove with tongs and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  6. In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon together.
  7. While still warm, coat each donut and donut hole in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
