Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil (olive or canola)
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)
  • Chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Heat oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  4. Place salmon fillets skin-side down and sear for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Flip the salmon and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Pour the glaze over the salmon and cook until it thickens and coats the fish.
  7. Spoon the sauce over the salmon and remove from heat.
  8. Serve with lemon wedges and garnish with green onions if desired.
