Ingredients

  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup Romano cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups Italian cheese blend, shredded (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup seasoned Italian breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the marinara sauce, Alfredo sauce, ricotta, Romano, mozzarella, provolone, and Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
  4. Add the cooked ziti pasta to the sauce and cheese mixture. Stir to coat evenly.
  5. Pour the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the Italian cheese blend, breadcrumbs, melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  7. Sprinkle the breadcrumb topping evenly over the pasta.
  8. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbling.
  9. Let cool for 5 minutes, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.
