Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 10 ounces baby spinach, rinsed and dried
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon juice (optional), for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and lightly golden.
  3. Add the spinach to the pan. Use tongs to toss it with the garlic and oil until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  5. Remove from heat and serve immediately, with a squeeze of lemon juice if desired.
