Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix gochujang, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the bowl and coat evenly. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Lightly coat the air fryer basket with olive oil.
  5. Toss the marinated chicken with cornstarch for a crispy coating.
  6. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until cooked through and crispy.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
