Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (or homemade chocolate cake)
  • Ingredients needed for the cake mix (eggs, oil, water)
  • 2 cups chocolate frosting
  • 10-12 Kit Kat candy bars (full-sized)
  • 1 cup M&M's (or preferred candy topping)
  • Ribbon (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Bake the chocolate cake according to the package instructions in two 8-inch round cake pans.
  2. Let the cakes cool completely before frosting.
  3. Spread a layer of chocolate frosting on top of one cake, then place the second cake on top.
  4. Cover the entire cake with a generous layer of chocolate frosting.
  5. Break the Kit Kat bars into individual sticks and carefully press them vertically around the cake.
  6. Fill the top of the cake with M&M’s or your favorite candy.
  7. Tie a ribbon around the cake for extra decoration (optional).
  8. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to set.
  9. Slice and enjoy!
