  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook ziti pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes, then season with salt and pepper.
  5. In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, ricotta, and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the cheese mixture and stir until well combined.
  7. Spread half the pasta mixture in the prepared baking dish. Top with half the meat sauce.
  8. Repeat layers with remaining pasta and sauce. Sprinkle remaining 1 cup mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving, if desired.
